EFT is a body - based stress reduction technique. While it might look a little strange at first, it’s growing quickly in popularity because it’s effective, simple, and available, literally at your fingertips.
Studies show that EFT can significantly lower stress hormones (cortisol), and influence other biochemical markers.
In 2021 Ilse was invited by Dr. Peta Stapleton to deliver EFT in world-wide clinical (chronic pain) trials. The research used brain scans in the form of functional MRI ‘s and vagal tone measurements to assess its effectiveness.
The now published research showed changes in pain severity (-21%), quality of life (+7%) anxiety (− 37.1%), depression (-13.5%), happiness (+17%) and satisfaction with life (+8.8%). Several years after the trials, follow up data shows the outcomes remain positive.
Clinical EFT has been studied in areas like food cravings, depression, chronic pain, anxiety, phobia's and more.
