What really is EFT / Tapping?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT tapping) is a body based stress reduction tool - backed by a ton of science. I'm a clinical EFT Practitioner who is focused on helping people rediscover their own kind of peace and freedom.

​Using psycho somatic tools (like EFT) we addresses the physical, mental, emotional, relational, and/or spiritual factors that keep you stuck. If you want to start moving in the direction of your dreams, let's connect. 

Lucky me, got to assist Dr. Stapleton (professor & researcher) on her clinical pain trials a few years ago.  The now published research shows reductions in pain severity (-21%), anxiety (− 37.1%), improvements in quality of life (+7%), happiness (+17%) and satisfaction with life (+8.8%). Brain changes were noted on Functional MRI” s. It sounds kinda dry this research stuff, but I figured you probs like to know this stuff  works. 


It combines a physical part, (tapping on specific acupuncture points) while thinking about a problem (an unpleasant emotion or stress full thought for example). The tapping sends a calming signal to the midbrain, which de-activates the threat response. It allows us to think about our problem, without feeling the charge. When we down regulate stress hormones, our body, brain & behaviour all benefit.

Tapping helps clarify what you (often unconsciously) worry about. If you have done "all the right things", (Exercise, diet, mindset work) and still feel stuck, this body based stress reduction technique reveals the (unconscious) "upside", that keeps your habits, patterns, emotions or beliefs in place. EFT is an effective Mind-Body approach, backed by a ton of science that successfully works with most problems.
